Algarve Riders was born in 2015, starting humbly as a family-owned business with fewer than 25 brand-new scooters and a small rental shop in Albufeira, the bustling tourism capital of the Algarve. Back then, our vision was clear but modest: to offer visitors a simple, fun, and reliable way to explore the stunning landscapes and vibrant culture of this sun-soaked region.

From the beginning, we focused on creating unforgettable experiences for every rider who walked through our doors. With a strong commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction, Algarve Riders quickly became a favorite among visitors eager to discover the Algarve in a unique and adventurous way.

Fast forward to today, and our growth has been nothing short of extraordinary. From our humble beginnings, we now operate the largest and most modern fleet of scooters in the Algarve, with over 200 high-quality scooters available to rent. Over the years, we've welcomed guests from more than 75 countries, earning their trust, loyalty, and glowing reviews. Despite our growth, we remain true to our roots - a family-run operation with a deep passion for sharing the beauty of the Algarve.

2019: A Turning Point

2019 marked the beginning of a bold new chapter for Algarve Riders - a move that would redefine who we are and how we connect with our guests. We expanded our portfolio beyond scooter rentals and ventured into off-road guided tours, giving visitors the chance to experience the Algarve’s countryside in a way they never had before.

From our Tours Base Camp, located near Albufeira, we introduced immersive adventures that take our guests off the beaten path. Through ATV (quads), UTV (buggys), and Private Jeep Safaris, we created opportunities to discover the Algarve’s hidden treasures: picturesque landscapes, historic villages, and the raw, unspoiled beauty of the region.

What started with a capacity of 24 people per group has since grown to host groups of over 80 guests, making us the largest operator of quad and buggy tours in the Algarve. Today, our off-road tours have become a staple for locals, travelers, and corporate groups alike, offering a perfect blend of adventure, discovery, and fun.
